Healthy fats like omega-3 fatty acids are not just essential for your baby's brain development. They are also essential on boosting your partners sperm count and sperm motility. Saturated fats on the other hand can sabotage sperm by making them less hardy.


You can get omega-3s in pregnancy-safe fish such as wild salmon and trout and from specific fortified foods, including eggs, yogurt and milk. If fish is not your thing or you simply can't stomach it then you can find it in your prenatal vitamins or omega-3 supplements.
